Had a 65 ford econoline van in the early 70's. Had shag carpet,oh yeah. You know how much Florida sand a shag carpet can eat...tons! ???.Had a blast in that old thing .Every now and then got a gallon of paint and brush paint it. Ended up as a chicken coop on a farm in Ohio.

LOL, My first car was a 64, Ma Bell Ford Econoline van, queen size mattress  in the back with lawn chairs. Check it out in Stephen King's book the "Tommy Knocker's", Fast Eddie Parker's Rock and Roll Band. I had a 4 track tape player in it ;D.

Would be good to meet ya @ Classic.

And, yes, such an adventure should be a part of everyone's lifetime.
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857
