I can't wait for this one.   You are doing a great job, (of course).  But don't be to timid, Pearl Drums made a great point in a conversation I had with him, if your scared of it it will lead to twitchy, short drawn shots. I agree with him on that issues.  On my last ERC build was a little scared of all the Boom talk, and I ended up under weight.  B the way thanks for taking the time to do this, and in front of everybody at that.

Yeah i ain't skeered .....YET!!!! I won't be flinchy till I'm out past 20"  ;D

Hopefully tonight I'll get some more time on it. I'll reduce my outer third width now that I know where the string is tracking,then shave a wee bit more off the whole width of it,and narrow n reduce some wood at the handle area. Then I'll string her back up and start tillering it some more. I won't do it all at once. Prob take it to 20" or so with lots of exercise,and then let her rest again until the next time.

Disclaimer.... if that thing blows and an injury results.. I have no idea where you got that junky ERC... Seems like I saw some other guy unloading a truckbed full of it... :D

reduced the outers....shaved the width further down to 1 3/4"....narrowed/rounded the handle a lil more...and strung her up again tonight...its at a 5" brace and im tillered out to 37@22" right now...almost there...didn't wanna be pulling it any further until I knew my tiller was spot on...looks food to me....next time I shave a lil more around the handle and start exercising her further as its not quite up to my intended weight yet...gotta be nice and easy with this stuff...right now it weighs 20.5 ounces,so im looking good enough there albeit a lil on the heavy side(but that's ok and means im slightly over built)

tiller shots from both ways...and ten minutes after unstringing...so far so good  :-X

I see a lot of camera shots that make the bottom limb look shorter.  Is it just me does it look like the siding panels seem to get narrower from the arrow down and wider from the arrow up?  weird....
