Nice job Greg!  You made a great looking bow out of that stave.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Looks Really nice Greg.  Looks like that deflex spot might've complicated it some, but you nailed the tiller in spite of it.  I've got hhb on my short list.  Received an hhb bow from GregB in the trade a few years ago that is just super sweet.

Nice bow Greg.  That looked like a challenging stave.  Hophornbeam is its own sort of wood - very stiff and stubborn but makes a great bow.  I have found it hard to heat and correct at times.  Your line about how that spot wouldn't budge reminded me of my experience with it.  It hangs in there though. I have one that stays flat no matter who shoots it and how far they pull it (under my watchful eye of course ;D).   Looks like JonW is getting a great bow.

Good looking bow. Your issues with this is one of the reasons I love selfbows over any other.

Good job Greg. Like Cody, I didn't recognize that one either! You tillered it just like the stave told you to.

Let me tell you guys something. Greg does not give himself enough credit for being an awesome bowyer. I have bows from many different guys and I tell you this one is TOP NOTCH! Absolutely smooth and quiet with any bullet I shoot from it. Thanks so much Greg for doing what you like doing and passing it on. I definitely got the better side of the trade.
