I'll let the pics do the talking this time. I done this this evening. Just thought I would see if you all had any pointers or what's your thoughts about my work. New design for me. Patrick

Looks like the nocks on my old personal shooter actually!

Well, mine are on a molle so they're not side nocks.

Love me some bocote! Beautiful ;D

Nice looking overlay. If the draw weight isn't too heavy I don't think i'd worry about the 'thin-ness'.

The little ones on that molle I mentioned held fifty pounds at twenty six inches. I think you're good with that bocote ;)

Only one way to find out. Shoot the tar out of it. Id shoot it if that makes you feel any better....:)   The guys will tell you, if a bow has a flaw of any sort Ill find it first draw.

I like the shape a lot but proportionally, they look a wee bit small.  Very nicely crafted too.

I once made pin nocks on a bow with tips that were 1/4" wide. The part holding the string was probably close to 3/32" wide but 1/2" deep. The thing about nocks is that the string doesn't have enough leverage to break them off unless they aren't deep enough. Or at least that's my theory.  >:D I'm sure yours will be fine.

That's about how I figure it, no reason not to go small on mollegabets!
