Thanks again
« on: January 16, 2015, 09:15:02 am »
I just wanted to take a few minutes and say thanks for everyone here making a great place to escape. Things have been a bit crazy here with plowing snow all night and taking care of my wife. We lost our baby (Miscarriage) and things have been a bit nuts. It is nice to be able to log on and get lost in something other than work or a heavy heart.

Thanks again.

Joe

I am so sorry to hear that.  Although most people (rightfully) worry most about the mother in these situations, I know the dad suffers a real loss as well.  We just show it different.  This place is a good refuge, I think, and we all feel for you and your family.

Yep, been there too, with our first. But after a while you will come to realize it was for a reason that you had no control over. Since then we raised two, wonderful kids to adulthood.

Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. Getting my wife to realize that there is nothing we could have done is the issue. we are both doing well. Now the waiting to see what happens next. This waiting after the fact is the issue now. She is back to work, and doing really well.
