Once an Eagle Scout, always an Eagle Scout!

Missouri, where all the best wood is! Well maybe not the straightest!

Building a bow has been the most rewarding, peaceful, and frustrating things I have ever made with my own two hands!

I did get to make a great trade with a fella called Ryan, aka wizardgoat! We swapped some staves. Then he made me an offer I couldn't refuse and he ended up with my custom made scraper. At one point I told him, "I don't know how you did it but you did."

Glad I got to meet and visit with you and your wife both.  Wish we could have had more time to talk about bows. I hope you enjoy that scraper as much as I did and may it build you a lot of bows. Have a safe journey back home. Patrick

what a great time!  the best of the best ,it was so good to see friends from afar and near ,and to meet and make new ones,, thanks pappy, and a big thanks to all that help make this shoot possible,, I guess that is why its called the classic...Great weather, great food, great times, =the TN Classic.  I hope to post some pics later on in the week.  Next year, I'm going to make sure to bring Becca, and aaaalllllll my kids.  Thanks for letting the cat out of the bag, Mullet.

P.S.  to everyone,  I have lost my favorite shooting thumb ring.  It was a gift from a friend.  It's made of clear lexane plastic.  Cheesy I know.  But it's the best shooting ring I every had.  If anyone finds it, there is a handsome reward.  Just let me know.

Thanks again to all, James Parker

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

It's somewhere around where we set up.  It's a small thumb ring and it's clear like plexi-glass, so it will be hard to find.  Thanks once again Pappy.  Can't wait till next year.  Bringing the whole crew!  --James
