Great looking bow and a great story too. I bet Caleb will have lots of enjoyment with that bow. Nice job.

Looks like a sweet shooting bow.  I know what you mean about being selective about who you build a bow for.  Not everyone deserves a good hand made osage bow - it sounds like you found the perfect recipient.  Good for you.

That looks like a good un. Sweet bend for sure. It sounds like he will really appreciate it, too! ;)

Thank you guys for your kind words.

Jon, I think his folks are gonna let him come with Linda and I to Ojam this year. I really would like to get to the Tennesee classic this year as well. Just have to see how it goes.

Caleb will be proud of that stick!
Tiller is just perfect, also like your work on the handle!
Good to see a bow from you again.

Thanks Simon. I've got some pics of another one I made few months back. I may post that one when I get back from Florida next weekend. It turned out pretty good.

Awesome story, and a great looking finished piece of osage.  I'm with ya on not making the wall hangers...everyone wants a bow but about a third or less of those I know would actually shoot it!  Glad you're getting this young fellow off to a good start in archery.
