juniper question
« on: January 03, 2015, 09:08:05 pm »
i am thinking juniper has a fast seasoning time...does any one know if this is true...i only say this because i had a stave last year that only seasoned for 7 months and it was like it sat around for years...NOW,i have anther stave that has been split open since october and would love to get it reduced down and sinew backed...well it probley depends on how thick the stave is...thanks john

now this some interesting info...i know this year i cut some limbs in late october...that day it was 70 degrees..and i was not expecting that..when i cut the limbs in a short time they looked like they where all blown apart on the ends...SO,that must be saying they are dumping out water fast...NOW,i think i could jump on a piece and get it sinew backed..thanks john
