English word for hunting stand above the tree line?

We have a word for it here in Norway, it's "bogastelle". It describes a small stone-circle or -wall by which the archer could hide when hunting reindeer up in the mouintains.

What is the correct english term for it?

Death from above, I do think anyone hunts from a stone circle much here in the states.
If we hunt above it is usually from a tree or tree stand.

I had to read this twice.  Whey you say "above the tree line" you mean at higher altitudes where the trees don't grow, right?  The bogastelle sounds like what we would call a ground blind.  Ours are usually temporary or portable and usually not as elaborate as a stone wall.
