Problem with cold

I had a maple board bow witch I tillerd in my heated work shop i tillerd it out to 29 and shot it 50 times inside. I left a in my truck in 35 degree below zero over night and shot it the next and it exploded violently was the cold the factor or was it something else

  Jeeeesh Sir, where do you live? I heard severe cold lowers mc, but have no hands on experience

I'm thinking MC and the fact that it was an inferior Maple, but thats just an inital thought? Anyone else?  Danny

I would imagine it was the MC as well. However I do not know that one day in that temp would zap the MC down that much.

Did you bring it in and warm it up first or did you shoot it after when the bow was also at -35F?

Also meant to post this link talking about the same thing with a bow that I had in storage down to -13F.
