Looks like a real crackerjack of a little bow.I like everything about it.Did i miss the draw weight?
There does seem to be a bit of confusion regarding definitions these days. That bow seems to be a straight reflex recurve bow,not a 5 curve as ive known the style to be.The 5 curve as ive been led to believe,is reflexed from the grip area and then deflexed in the region of midlimb and then reflexed at the outer extremities. In other words,a gullwing with reflex in the nock area.
Regardless an outstanding little bow.
Thanks for your comment Traxx
drawweight: as title says 52/24
5curve: definition is to be made looking at the braced and drawn profile, right? This little sucker has a curve in the handle, not excessive o. k., but is has. Most of it is hidden by the fluffy handle cloth, I should have taken a pic before applying the clothes.
Outstanding. 52 pounds at 24 as in the title?
yes
That is just awesome! Great job!
I had a bow throw violently off some sinew too.
Some say sinew is magic.
I say runny superglue is magic!
Jawge
Yeah Jawge, me too
I'd like to see this bow shoot a flight arrow.
I thought on this Pat. perhaps I find the time to make a matching flight arrow. Flight shooting is anew thing for me and I'm interested.
Thanks fellas! And the next plains is in production ... Cheyenne inspired, we will see soon.
