I can now add beaver to the list of hides that I need help with tanning.  I caught my first two this morning.  Those suckers are big varmints.  Clint, would you need a beaver skull for your collection?

Yea I've done a few rawhide wraps...............real thin, and tough to flesh all the grissel off.  you really have to be careful when lacing, holes tear out easy.  but definately worth saving for sure.....

Greg I tried mentioning it to the wife and I got "the look" followed by some words.  ::) I'd like to if I have enough vacation time to do so,and if I get a pass from the wife. But as of now its a no-go.
