Outstanding first effort!  Kudos for finding yourself one heck of an "apprenticeship" there :)

Here is the first bow I made myself, it turned out a little lightweight so it fits perfectly for my wife.
A masterstroke!!  finding the silver lining in an underweight bow  and getting spouse buy-in on your new obsession!  Genius :D
(and I don't know of anybody who's first bow didn't come in underweight)

Welcome and very nice job on your first bow. That handle section looked like it was a bugger. Good to see that Simpson is a "carrier" of the disease. Lol.   Danny
