Another nice bow.  When do you find the time to sleep?  Really like the stich pattern on the black handle.  Gonna have to try something like that soon.   Very mid evil looking.

Very pretty, Simson.  Looks very smooth.  That stitching pattern is very cool, also!

How do you get osage in Bayern?  Do you have to pay through the nose for it?  Beautiful bow.  I am as always in awe of your work. --trying to get there myself.

Jeff

I get it from the States or from Hungary (like this piece)

Very nice!  That is a fine bow from a fantastic looking piece of well seasoned osage. I bet it shoots sweet.

yeah, the long draw of Karlheinz makes that thing really fast!

Very nice bow, could you tell me the weight please? I think the osage is hungarian, isn΄t it? Karl Heinz should be happy.

weight is like the title says 44 pounds at a 30" draw

Looks darn good. And recurves on a squirrelly piece of wood are always a headache.

Outstanding!  As usual.  The bow is very nice in all aspects.  I like your stiching on the handle.....may have to "borrow" it from you.    ::)
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Stunning bow sir.  Was there a problem with the design of the brown handle?  I like the look of it why did you change it out?  Cool pics of the shots btw

Sorry for the late response and thanks again guys!

Looks darn good. And recurves on a squirrelly piece of wood are always a headache.

It wasn't the curve that made me nervous, it was the very narrow stave. When the limbs got aligned- the levers were off and opposite. So I had a lot of heating sessions, but now the thing is very fine.

The first version was a try in a concave belly handle for a right hand, very unusual - but I like to do different things. The new owner is  a leftie and wanted a black leather plus a straight handle plus a exotic stitching. He got it!

Man, your bows are always worth lookin' at. Especially those blurry furry faded out tips ;)
