hoping, fingers crossed.

Well today the city tree trimmers were at the end of my street. I grabbed a bow and walked down to talk to these guys. I ask if they had to chip all the wood that they cut or could someone have some? Well they said they would call me if they cut some hickory, hackberry and one ole boy said he knew where he could get some Osage also. So I told these 2 guys if they got me some good wood I would build them a bow. They took my number now I just wait to see if they call me.
Did the Native Americans think about all this that much or just do it?

Awesome!  I hope they find some for you.  It never hurts to put the word out that you are looking for some bow wood.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left
