If you are happy with it then so am I ,nice job, cool arrow looks like it should get the job done, how does it fly is the main thing. :)

Great looking arrow, looks like my first, right down to the glass point. A little tip; if you make the next one to shoot, trim your fletching down a little shorter. As high as you have these it will make them noisy and slow down real quick.

 Ready to see some more, now. :)

Good looking pointy stick you got there.  Along with Mullets suggestion on the fletching height, you don't have to make your self nocks that deep.  The wrapping looks good on it. 
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

It might just be the angle of the first picture, but did you put the fat end of the shaft as the nock end of the arrow?

and yea I have cut the fletchings down already. believe it or not the nock was longer. it twisted when I was filing it out so I straightened it out and hacked off a good eight inch of twist
