I know it wasn't my trade, but I am excited at the opportunity to use some new tools. Tyke traded a canoe for a Lathe with a 40 inch bed, a 6 piece lathe tool kit and a 10 inch table saw last night. Our shop is coming right along.

I would live to fart around with a lathe! My 10x10 unheated shed doesnt have much room though

I also need to get my shop insulated and a heater in it. Mine is in the attic of my garage. The floor area is 24X24, but with the pitch of the roof gives about half of that, I can use the short walls to house workbenches though. I have a window on one tall wall, and a "Door" on the other. My tillering tree was the most difficult place to figure out. Now if I can only convince my wife to let me get a small wood burning stove i'll be set.

I use a 220 volt drywall heater for my shop(22x28 double garage) I've had it for about 25 years. A little noisy going off and on but it keeps me warm.

I have a coal burning stove in mine, but I bet insulation and Air Conditioning would be more practical.

The AC is all but taken care of, and as soon as I am not a lazy puke the insulation is mostly there, and the visqueen as well.
