I'm going to try some wild rose and I have a question about the natural taper on the shaft. Should I use the thicker side for the nock end or for the point end.

Never had much luck with wild rose.....but using the thicker side for the point end is better..................

The big end is the point end! Don't strip the bark until the shoots are completely dry or they will check. Wild rose makes very good arrows.
