Hate them critters.  I had a rat snake living in my shop year before last because of the mice.  He and I coexisted for a time.  Great story Clint.

Every Winter I've had at least one Rat build a nest somewhere in my shop. I've done everything every year you did, Clint. Ever try the electric traps? >:D Those are cool. :D Finally I started putting moth balls all over the shop, especially in my wood pile, this year for the first time, no rats or mice.

Great shooting by the way. The wife would make fun of me sitting in the shop in the dark with a flashlight taped on my pellet rifle :).

I made a live trap out of duct tape, half a minnow trap and an antique Ford we had laying around. The other half of the minnow trap was busted or I would have used the whole thing. I caught a mouse in our garage with it.

Wasn't it Crazy Horse that said, "When the buffalo are gone we will hunt mice.  Because we are hunters."

I nominate Clint for the "Never Cry Wolf" Award! (All the Canadians will get the reference and some others that maybe saw the movie but didn't read the book.)

What do you carry for a backup close range weapon in case you gotta follow a wounded one into the bush?
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
