Knapping gathering?
« on: December 16, 2008, 06:17:39 am »
Is there anyone interested in sharing their knapping talents at a gathering on a Saturday in January during a seminar at a local Bass Pro Shop in Richmond Va.  I am putting togehter a few things in traditional/primative archery and would love to have some locals join me.  If interested, please contact me for details

Come on now....I know there are some really good knappers close to the Richmond Va area......this is not a test........rather a testiment to your skills and getting others involved into knapping

stringstretcher: Man, I was hoping you would get some hits. If I was around Richmond I would at least try to make the time, but it's a little too far out for me :). Their was a fellow who I haven't seen around here in awhile - went by WVFlintknapper I believe but haven't seen him in a long time. Can't think of any others in VA :-\.

Cowboy wvflintknapper went through a divorce thats why he hasn't been around. His name is Robert White ifin that helps
you could look on e-bay for as he used to sell knapping kits on there.

What about Hardaway points I think his name is Jim. He was involved in the NC rendevous. I met him at a Hunters helping Kids event. He was very knowledgeable about knapping and a good knapper to boot.
