Osage Copperhead Recurve
« on: November 18, 2014, 05:53:04 pm »
Well hopefully this works here as well.

This is a bow i recently finished for Greg as my end of our trade. I jave always wanted one of Badly Bents awesome scalloped bows and i asked him if he wanted to trade last year at the classic. We agreed and this is what i made for Greg.  I dont remember the exact length but i think it is 58 ntn and pulls 52@26. Just a nice clean piece of osage with some skins i got from charles in tx about three years ago. The tips are cocobola and the grip is skivved leather. There is a small shelf because thats how i like em even though greg is kne of you weird knucklers. Lol.
Sorry the pics arent as good as they used to be but my new phone sucks. Maybe greg can post some better ones but i think hes busy. Thanks greg. Good trade!

That is a beauty.  Great work Dave.  Greg you better treat her right or I'll have to take care of her.   ;D

VERY NICE!

Oh yeah its a beauty, thanks again Dave I love it. Got it yesterday and its sitting on the dining room table so I can look at it every time I pass by. Killing me that I can't shoot it till the weekend but I've strung her up and taken her to full draw and like what I feel.  Got my broken camera replaced and I think I can get some better pics. Will be the weekend before I am able to do that though, I want to take them outside because it would be the only proper way to show off this serious hunting weapon.

I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Nice curves, Dave.  And like the handle wrap mucho!!

Got opp to see bow Dave received from Greg.  Wow!
