Phew!  So much in it...the crossbow/bow system was fascinating.  Probably the differentiation of the soldiers, horses, equipment though.  The sheer scale of it is astounding.  You think the "rivers of mercury" are still in tact in the grave?

I saw it also. The crossbow system was ingenious. With it, any archer could have a crossbow. The way the two components of the arrowheads being poured from different alloys of bronze but formed a stronger head was interesting too. Heck, all of it was neat.  ;)

I got the see some of the Ghost Army in LA a few years back. They are pretty impressive in person.

I thought I read somewhere that they took a couple of core samples of the mound and did find high levels of mercury. I would have thought they would mentioned that on the show so I may be wrong.
