With a Mediterranean grip, what do you do with your thumb? Just tuck it out of the way somewhere?

I think mine usually just sticks up.

Stick it in your mouth and bite down.  That way you can hold full draw as the deer is walking in from across the field.  Kinda like using a primitive release.
