That's a black locust for sure.
The leaves are about 8-10" long, while the leaflets are up to 1½". It's a compound leaf. The pods are nothing similar to maple. I can't understand why you make that comparison. Black locust has bean like pods with several hard seeds inside. Maple has one winged nuts.
Black locust is excellent bow wood, although this particular tree seems to have too much twist and too many knots.
