Yeah, great stuff. This is my favorite available wood, despite every single stave having those old, repaired borer holes in it.
55 lb at 62" long abnd 27" draw is impressive work.

Thanks everyone
. Besides the trouble of finding a ring on the back around the knots- a simple bow. Traxx, simple bows shoot best. The mystery is solved. I'm still not going to stop building short complicated bows though.

Looks great. Black locust grows all over here, yet I have never tried it. Seems like quite a few fine locust bows have been posted lately, makes me determined to try it.
