I finished a hickory back jatoba core lamination done with Smooth On EA 40 Epoxy which was mixed 2 parts A to 1 part B.
This should have made the epoxy safe to 217 degrees F as steam is 211 degrees F.
I steamed it for 2 hours and it has held together fine
But as I was warned the epoxy could not hold the wood at the bend it was set at as it returned to almost straight position
So the experiement both succeeded and failed and I will not do that again.
If you want epoxy to hold a bend it must be done when the epoxy is drying.
