Figured i would show all you guys a picture of my new viking shield that i made. the design isn't period, but with winter coming and all.....it seemed fitting ;) for those of you that get the pun... please like my page if you enjoy my products, or message me if you're interested in anything. thanks :)

We just hung our viking shield up over the fireplace. Need to get some axes or swords to go along with it.

i absolutely love that shield. if I'm not mistaken, it appears to be lagertha lothbrok's shield from vikings :)

on a side note, where did you purchase your shield boss? i forge my own, but ive been wanting to purchase a bigger, better made one to both use and learn from.

I picked it up from amazon, actually. That is pretty sweet that you forge your own. I may have to come up with some trade material to get one for you. And you are right, it is Lagertha's. My wife is in the process of making a whole get up of hers.
