IMHO, I think it needs to be working a little more mid limb on both sides. But I hate to post that after some of the legends have spoke.

Patrick,
            The tiller may have some issues on the tree and I do see some stiffness in center of right limb second picture. I would finish or recommend tweeking the tiller OFF the tree. It almost always changes and sometimes drastically when you draw the bow yourself and apply different pressures with your bow hand/heel and drawing hand pulling than the tree pegs. Draw it in a mirror or get someone to take pictures while you draw the bow and take a look. Also go by feel here and see if it pulls evenly or has one limb pulling stronger than the other. With last couple of inches and pounds I always draw the bow myself and use a camera to snap a quick pic. Nice looking bow you have going and keep us posted...

Just food for thought, but if I can I will heat straighten an area like that as best I can and then work on the tiller.  It just makes it so much easier to judge the tiller, especially coming out of the fades where it can be difficult anyway.

Ok guy's I've done a little  work on this bow. And the tiller looks really good to me now. With all of your input I found the upper limb to be a little stiffer in the mid limb and is now bending well. Also in the process I found the bottom a little stiffer over all.  I took the advice of shooting it some at a lower draw and it has absolutely no hand shock and flat zines an arrow. I did decide to do a little heat treating last night to that whoopty-doo spot and now it's a little stiffer. I decided to leave it that way since it shoots so nice.

The brace is right at 5.75" with the brand new b50 string I made for it tonight. I promise to post another full draw pic ASAP and keep you all updated. Thanks for all your help wouldn't know what to do without you all. Patrick

Looks good,looking forward to seeing full draw and it all dolled up. Them whoops can drive you nuts but looks like you handled it very well. Rotating side to side is key on them.

Sorry  for not getting an update on the full draw guy's. I got all caught up in shooting it. Then I heard a noise. It popped a splinter. I made another post asking what to do. PatB is sending me some deer rawhide to back it with. When I get that all done I'll post a full draw after I check tiller again. Thanks Patrick

It was,  but this is a bow that pictures don't do it justice. It's actually plenty thick there. Plus this is a D shaped cross section. That whoopty-doo is also kinda red in color and it seems to be a lot harder than the rest of the wood. Thanks,  Patrick
