Butternut, good, bad, indifferent?

So, what do you guys think of butternut the sisterwood to walnut?

Usable unusable terrible awesome?

I split a small log this spring and it has been drying in a shed on camp here, forgot about it till I went in the shed today!

Think I read somewhere that it's not good bow wood?to soft,but I've been wrong before!lol!
Some like motorboats,I like kayaks,some like guns,I like bows,but not the wheelie type.
