Bought the daughter a savage axis 243 since she passed her hunter safety course.

And here's one of the boy with a 22 cricket.

I think the .243 is the most underrated caliber around! A vast majority of all shooters are unable to accurately hit anything under field conditions past it's most effective range, anyway.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Good for you!  Tell me you got the picture of your Daughter shooting, backwards, and she is NOT a lefty?  If she is not using the right hand, she is using the wrong hand!   ::)I know, I know, left handed people are in the their right mind..... :P  That little cricket makes for a great back pack plinker, and food gather, for hiking, and camping.  The .243 caliber is a good little deer cartridge.  I have a Remington 660, in 6mm.  Love it.
Get them out to the range as often as possible.  And in the woods as often as possible, as they say.... take your kids hunting, and you won't have to go hunting for your kids.  Again, good for you, and the kids. ;)

stickbender both my kids are right handed but they shoot left handed I'm left handed & shoot right handed. They love to shoot that was the first time the boy ever shoot a gun he's 5 but he was hitting the target same with a bow this year was the first time he shot a bow but he sticks them right in the target.
