Crack Rapair

What should I do with this crack? Second attempt at a bow. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I dont really see it? How long is the stave?

The stave is 65" and the crack is in the center of the belly but only visible at that one end

Well if what I'm looking at is the crack it looks like it's gonna be gone by time the bows done any way

+1 but you could squirt some CA at it if it will make you feel better. It always helps me. Every crack gets CA

  PS   How long has it been seasoned? Is it fully dry?

I agree put alittle glue in it if you want but I wouldn't even worry about that crack it's not under any stress or in any working part of the limb

Its lilac

Shorten it a few inches. Lilac is very strong and can handle a long draw in a shorter length.

Why bother cutting it off it isn't going to be in the bow anyway? The wood is very dense so it's highly unlikely it will be that thick at the tips once tillered. Chances are being lilac that the stave isn't overly long anyway. Lilac is amazing bow wood....the only problem is it's ability to check whilst you look at it!

If the crack ends up in the finish bow glue and overlay on top of it to stabilize the area, problem solved.

It looks like it cracked to the pith. Just on the end there. I would say that it is fine and would be gone after done like others said. Or do as Eric said and glue and overlay.
