New stuff
« on: October 05, 2014, 12:08:31 pm »
Thought I'd hit gold around some dirt work on job site but just more drab grey, typical, shot full of fractures, occasional concrete, tough TX stuff. Lol.
Points made from it and a skinner for a friend (he don't know it yet). Also been building cases to show them off in, every kind of wood I have in the pile :).

Man that yellow one is purdy. As well as the orange cerimonial discs.

You made some nice cases for them and the purses you made from the pigs ears.
Well done

Thanks all! Those boxes have held my attention more than the rocks I gotta admit. Once I'm done though probably will never build anther.
Trapper Rob: I just started hand fluting the smaller ones, those were done with a solberger jig.

Nice work on that hard Texas stuff. I know what it's like to work some hard stone. But you do a lot better job at it.
