I'm going to a knap-in this coming weekend.   ;D ;D   Some of the guys that used to knap in my area always attend this one so it will be fun.  Hope lots of you guys from TX can make it.

For those who don't know, here are the details:

Texas Hill Country Classic Knap In

ROBINSON CITY PARK
2  MILES  WEST  OF  DOWNTOWN  LLANO ON F.M. ROAD 152       
DIRECTION  SIGNS  WILL BE POSTED
DEMONSTRATIONS  WILL  BE  PROVIDED  FOR  THE  BENEFIT  OF
BEGINNING  KNAPPERS  AND  OTHER  INTERESTED  PARTIES

THERE  ARE  CAMPING  SITES  AND  R.V.  HOOKUPS
AVAILABLE  AT  THE  PARK  FOR  THOSE  WHO CHOOSE  TO
BRING  THEIR  TRAVEL  TRAILERS

If any of you have questions, just email them to mickthurber@gmail.com.  Our usual entry fee will apply – $10.00 per person. We want to emphasize that we do not do the event to make a profit. Your entry fees are used solely to defray the cost of the use of the City of Llano Knapping site. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

How to Cook It?  200° for 24hrs then 275° to 500° for 4hrs (depending on type), Cool for 12hr
