I was able to get it done this weekend. Twistedlimbs Osage bow, cane arrow and FL agatized coral point. I was up in a tree that was dropping acorns and she came in feeding. She didn't turn broadside until she was about 3 steps away. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have shot with her so close, forcing me to shoot a severe angle down into her. Trying to squeeze the arrow down through both lungs is tough on such a small window. Shot was about an inch or so higher than I had planned, and I dropped her on the spot with a spine shot. Another quick stone point to the heart and I sealed the deal on my first meat of the season. Although it ended in success, I think I will exercise caution and try to wait for a little better angle. Hard to not to shoot at 3-4 yards tho! - Ryan
