Bow backing

Hello to yall, I have a bow that I been working on with yall's help. 45 pound self bow, the back is less than stellar real close growth rings 1/16 or less it is osage flat bow would like to worck on this weekend if we dont get blowed away again [MO tornados] I have a Tandy Leather not to far from my house where I CAN purchase rawhide. Will rawhide carry the back or is it best to order sinew and wait a week or so[yes I am part cajun,Irsih and ozark Hillbilly and a splash of native american] so's id like ya'lls advice

Rawhide will work fine and be much less work than sinew. Make sure to post pics when done.
