protecting stone and bone tips in a traditional hunting quiver

Hey guys I recently made my first traditional set of arrows with stone, glass, and bone points. I made a twig quiver to put them in, that I would like to hunt with, but I can't come up with a satisfactory way to  protect the sometimes fragile tips. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance..

You could make some leather point covers to slide over them while they are in the quiver.  I didn't want to mess with taking off a point cover when I grabbed an arrow so I made a bamboo quiver that held the arrows on the outside tightly so they didn't bang around and damage the tips.

a big handful of moss in the bottom or some people use oatmeal  in the bottom Bob

I use Spanish Moss.  No complaints from the game.

I use a rigid foam block in the bottom of my quivers(not back quivers) for the broadheads to go into. You can also use individual soft leather or suede pouches to protect each broadhead.

You can make leather holsters  that will hold 2 or more arrows. Here is a photo at the end. Jawge

Going to give this a try...
A layer of thin leather with 3 layers of fleece over the top


This sewed to the bottom to quiet head contact with the sides of quiver and minimize head to head contact noise...




Top is sewed in a slight funnel shape with material added to the upper portion to add bulk and cover top of quiver and reduce contact noise...

i used a loofa sponge cut to fit once,it was okay,but spanish moss is way easy
