Very nice and simple, just the way I like it. Good job. Patrick

Nice arrows.  Looks like you left the bark on the shafts?

"There's some brown, old growth stock there too in the bushes...somewhere deep. Too deep."  I love that part...

I actually saw this earlier today and made a resolution to do battle with some multiflora rose sometime this year.  It will probably be in the winter so I can see it a bit better.  Anyway, your arrows and broadheads look great - thanks for the buildalong!

Nice! Glad to see some one else using wild rose. I have some really big patches in my woods that I have harvested woody stalks tht are an inch in diameter. Makes one helluva scary looking club!

Thanks for looking in Pappy, TimBo and Neolithicman.
LOL. I can't make enough arrows to keep it in check. :)

I cut some rose at one point and the pith was massive, made up most of the shaft. Does this shrink down significantly or was I just cutting the wrong species?

Bubbles, were you cutting wild rose or a berry like raspberry? Those are in my yard too.
Wild rose has a pith but it is a small part of the shaft.
Kind of like a natiural carbon or aluminum shaft. :)
Got photos?
