Thanks badly bent, that would have been a good name. Hope to put it to good use this fall. Really getting pumped about the upcoming season... Other than God, my family, wife, and kids... It's what I live for!!!

Thanks for the kind remarks fellas. It was good Osage, Matt. It had dark red streaks in the grain. I think  twisted limbs commented one time about the coloring of Osage. How old was that stuff, blackhawk? It was one of the staves we got in Ohio. I want to say it was cut in the late 80's.

Early 90's Jon....I only have a couple special ones left(maybe just one now) of that more than awesome batch of well seasoned hedge...that stuff went like hotcakes...that was some fine well aged wine....good to see it still going around n being made yet ;) I know there's a few more of em out there too ;)

I still got one big stave that probably has two stiffys and two bendys in it. It's propped and one end is reflexed but nothing heat can't fix. Nice rings though
