My second bow ever, and my first with an awesome finish! Bamboo backed yellow heart belly wood and riser with a flemish bowstring. Shoots great! Top limb working a bit more than the bottom.

Finished in a Pennsylvania deep woods theme. Yellow-brown finish with forest green elk hide handle. Four coats each of sealer, oil, and wax.
My first bow was black locust on a tiller tree. This bow was tillered by feel with no tree (except for the final weight check). I feel fortunate to have experienced both methods so early as they offer a slightly different sense of accomplishment. Next bow will be backed again, however I do have a little maple, bl, and oak seasoning.
Thanks for looking!
