grain deviations??

liking this new area!!   couple of questions....are grain deviations a big factor on these bows since your using the "back" for the belly..also what about ring violatipns ..i know im showing my ignorance about horn bows but was just curious since sinew and horn are kinda the main ingredient ??

With as much time and effort that goes into making one of these horn bows, I'd want to use the best materials available along with the proven methods to build one.
