The three magyars
« on: September 05, 2014, 02:45:58 pm »
This has been a three year journey for me making these Magyars with James Parkers help. The bow on top I made myself it is made out of hickory in the bending part a maple riser sassafras siyahs and Spanish ceader siyah covers water buffalo horn on the belly and sinew backed it also has a moose antler celik. Two weeks after it was sinewed it was heated over a stove and brought into reflex this bow I hope will string in octoberThe two bottom bows have not been sinewed yet the one in the middle I made the core and James put the horn on it is the same as the bow above The bow below James completely made it is maple in the bending part maple riser and mulberry siyahs and Spanish ceader siyah covers and moose antler celik.

The reflex oval one on top, can you please post a pic detailing the belly horn? I ask because the pic makes it not look straight but rather the edges look narrow in one spot.
