Del's Daughter gets Hitched
« on: September 01, 2014, 06:59:04 am »
My Daughter got married on Saturday, it was a great day, very informal in a wonderful setting.
On the marriage certificate she put Father's occupation as "Electronics Design Engineer and Bowyer"
That's great as future generations doing the genealogy will see it.
In the speeches the groom said my bow making prowess would ensure they were safe when the inevitable zombie apocalypse happened

Hi, as is the modern way, I sort of inherited a step grandson of 13 yrs old who has already had a go with the bows :).
My daughter has bonded well with him, encouraging him to be more 'out-doors' and less stuck into video games.
Dunno if real grandkids will come along, I know mrs Cat would be a brilliant grand mum and she's pining for some little 'uns to fuss over. Reckon I'd be a good grand dad too.

Outstanding sir. Wish them well. I kept my work shed as is, after my granddaughter decided to decorate with a little graffiti, grand kids are great.

Congrats, Del. Nice house. Your bows must cost a lot! :o

LOL... yeah, I'd love a place like that... it had a formal garden with trimmed Yew hedging and a big lake too.
Our place is just a tad more modest ;)

Congratulations Del.  I would imagine that is one of the proudest moments a father can have.  I will probably find out sooner than I want.  My daughter is going on her first real date today  :'(
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Congrats to the beautiful/handsome couple.
And congrats to you, Del, for bringing her to this point of life's adventure!
