check out these yew trees

just thought i would post pics of these yew trees my mate sent me they are the biggest i have seen. he said there are 2 big ones and loads of smaller ones. cant wait to go and look for some bow wood :) how old do you think these will be?

If the tree is in New Zealand and that is a creek to the left--
I think that is the yew whose seed was pooped out by the last Moa.
LOL  One nice big tree there danny. Thank your mate for the photo.

PS if it was an oak around Virginia it would be around 250-300yrs old?

I'm not sure if my 14" homelite could drop one of those but I'd sure give it a good try  >:D

WOW,nice tree, I am not a tree hugger by any stretch,but man I would hate to cut or see one of those cut.  :)

That thing is a great giant.  To see the things it has seen would be neat for sure.  Thanks for posting.
