lateral cracks

I have a  rough out mulberry stave with cracks running straight up in down is it possible to save this stave

I shot an osage with cracks up and down on of the limbs. They looked like wind shakes. THe bow is still shooting. I shot it regularly for 3 years.

As long as the cracks don't run off it should be ok. Fill with supelue and clamp...just for insurance.

Lateral cracks aren't much of a problem as long as the don't run off.
It's just like having two bows taped side by side they are both working together.
Flood 'em with low viscosity CA glue.
If they run off the end of the bow, just make sure the tip overlay bridges over the crack.

Are the cracks on the back or side of the bow?

Yes there only on the back but none seem to off the edge
