The Wallhangers trade

With some of the recent drama going on it gave a great idea and i think you guys will like it.

As the name implies we will be sending out one of our bows that has had a full life wheather she still shoots or not. i think we all kind of take for granted how beautiful some of our dead bows are and they get neglected.

this is just a feeler for right now to judge the interest. well try to keep the shipping as close to home as posssible to keep the rates down

id think a month or two oughta give people enough time ship. not like theres any work involved other than puting it in the tube and going to the post office

I do like paulsemp. :) :) Don't do wallhangers,if they won't shoot they have no value to me or anyone else. ;) :)

When im working gun shows I have some vendors who own actual shops offer to buy my wall hangers to hang on their walls. I always tell them I will soon as I have. Bow go south on me. Problem is, I usually break em real good or just dont wanna finish a crap bow. I have one bow as a wall hanger because it is going to break if it gets pulled. I strung it and hung it. Peach bow with deer antler tine recurve siyahs.shot real good till I heat treated it. Back opend up. I patched with raw hide and quit.

I would love to make a display on the wall in the living room, NA bow, elb, etc but they just dont look as good as when they are strung, and i dont want to leave a good bow stung.

Still no display after years of bow making.

I would be all over this if I had a wall hanger to trade. Still working on number two, and I will cry if it turns out to be a wall hanger.

My wall hangers so far have all been due to light weight. I have a few sisters and nephews/nieces, so far they have had somewhere to go.

I was thinking about a thread on "trade bows that did not make the grade" and what went wrong. Kinda like a review of the lessons learned???
