What a lovely bow.  Functional and beautiful.  I'm convinced that 65#s is the perfect weight for a man's bow.

Yep, it's a sweet, smooth-shooting bow, and it has a good smooth let -off when the string lifts off the recurves. Like Chris said, it doesn't feel like you're pulling 65# until you see that arrow go zippin' off at mach 2. Oh, by the way, I ordered that Robert E. Lee meets the AK47 book you were telling me about, should be a good'un. :)

So Chris. You just heated the walnut and osage strips and bent them to the curve? Damn, why didn't I think of that. ;D   I have wanted to do brush nocks and now I will.  ;)     Pat

that's all i have ever done.  just make sure the bend is flat and becareful not to crush the walnut as it can be soft and brittle.  i saw a bow at the florida shoot with tom and eddie last year that had miniature brush nock on a longbow.  i'm gonna try them this summer on a bow.

   I  hunt and 3-D shoot with 60 and 65# bows. I would have never thought this bow was 65#. At 20 yds,after I got used to it. Two straight bullseye's, I pointed the bow where I wanted to hit . It's the flattest shooting bow in 20 yds I've ever shot. It is for sure a "Man's" hunting bow. ;)
