New Flu-Flus

I made some new flu-flus for the students in my archery camp to shoot with.  I put a trash barrel in the center of the field and they tried to shoot the arrows into it.  They made over 100 shots and only hit the barrel twice.  It was a great hit with the kids and we all had a good time shooting them.  Each arrow has 2 fletches on it spirally wound on.  It took about 1 hour to make each arrow including grinding down the feathers. I had fun making them and then we all had fun shooting them.  Thanks for looking.

I just made my very first a few days ago. I can shot it 10 yards, but any farther and it dang near flies sideways. Any idea, or is that just the range? I have used 6 fletch in the past.
