Is it for rotator cuff tear?  If so, I had it last November 1st.  As long as you listen and do exactly what the Dr. and PT says to do, you will be fine.  But I will tell you right up front, the PT is no picnic.  Best of luck.

Don't know about the surgery but you can expect to be put on my wives prayer line for a quick recovery.

Dang Cipriano. I hate to ask what's next!  :o    I've never had it done but do what the Dr tell you to do and give it plenty of time to mend and heal. You ain't a spring chicken anymore.  ;)

If its your wiping arm you should have started to practice with the other hand about 2 months ago. Good luck and a quick recovery!

I had a partial bicep tear and rotator cuff tear - my surgery was June 26.  I have listened to my doctor and physical therapy folks and tried my best to do what they told me.  I turned loose my first arrow from a thirty pound bow on August 13.  I shot a little more with a hunting weight bow yesterday afternoon.  It is a longer road back than some injuries.  They told me initially that it would be twelve weeks before I was getting close to my old self, and they were about right.  I hate that you are going through all this stuff.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers.  Surely you have earned a long period of good fortune after this summer.   :)
