Looks like there may be an ELB lying along the right edge of that stave and avoiding that big knot.
As it's fairly near the end hopefully a slim bow tip will miss it.
There's a knot on that left side too. I'd saw off the left edge, just left of the check/split and see what you can see. You can then reduce it a little at a time and see what good wood you have.
Maybe see if you can salvage a billet from the left side.
A nice fresh clean cut across the very end would help you see what you've got.
It sort of looks like maybe it has some twist (could just be the shape... can't really tell from here
), but I wouldn't worry about it, but I'd saw it don't try and split it.
