You can't beat that dark osage, Scott. You did a great job with that piece of wood. I was also gifted with some fine osage at the Classic from Clint and you aren't wrong about what a good, stand up guy he is.

            Sounds like you got a lot out of that stave with barely an inch finished...The handle wrap is really nice and the tiller is outstanding, like the natural nocks to man  ;)

The unbraced profile is so impressive to me, on that skinny stave.  I guess Osage is some alright stuff  :o  I love it when the tiller just seems to fall in place.  Great work!

Gabe, you're right about osage. It's pretty good bowwood. Not all the same, and I believe this stick was top shelf stuff, but clearly this bow is not ground breaking work. Osage can handle a lot of different designs and still perform well. That happens to be why I love it so much. This stick only had one option and it turned out nice.
